The Ductformer CR8-CF-DH is a high-speed, 8-station rollformer specifically designed for HVAC duct flange connectors. Featuring a dual-head configuration, this sheet metal fabrication machine rollforms both edges of the sheet metal simultaneously, doubling the output of standard cleat formers for S and Drive profiles.

Specifics

As can be seen the quality and integrity of all our standard Rollformers, the System features an all gear drive, direct oil bath gear reduction, and sealed (lube for life) bearings to provide the smoothest, quietest Rollformer on the market to date. In summary, the unit consist of two (2) Rollform Head Assemblies mounted parallel side-by-side and positioned from Handwheel Leadscrews. The Roll Tooling will form the 180° Drive Cleat hems on both edges of the pre-notched sheet metal. Hence while the pre-cut Duct passes through the Cleat Edge Former, the System senses the notch to form the Cleat Edges for L-shape and Full Wrapper Duct.

For Systems using combination TDFC and “S” Slip and Drive Cleat operations, the Rollformer features By-Pass Conveyors. As can be seen by using the Handwheels provided, the Form Rolls open wider and the part can be by-passed or transferred through the By-Pass Conveyor then to the next form sequence.
